Deuteronomy 3:24
““Lord Yahweh, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?”
What does Deuteronomy 3:24 mean?
Moses speaks these words after witnessing God's power firsthand, and his wonder is real and personal. He's not making a theoretical argument but responding to what he's actually seen God do: deliver Israel from Egypt, part the Red Sea, provide for them in the wilderness. When he asks what god could match these acts, he's expressing awe at something he's experienced, not just heard about. There's comfort here for anyone struggling to believe. Moses doesn't ask us to trust God in the abstract, but points to concrete things God has done. He's saying: look at the evidence; pay attention to what actually happens when you're helpless and God shows up.
