“Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.”
What does Deuteronomy 29:9 mean?
Keeping covenant—whether with God or one another—creates the conditions for genuine flourishing. Moses is reminding the Israelites that their wellbeing isn't separate from their commitment to follow God's ways, but deeply connected to it. When we align our actions with what we've promised and what we know to be right, we find stability, wisdom, and peace in our daily lives.
