Deuteronomy 15:14
“You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, out of your threshing floor, and out of your wine press. As Yahweh your God has blessed you, you shall give to him.”
What does Deuteronomy 15:14 mean?
When an Israelite servant completed their years of service and gained freedom, they weren't sent out empty-handed. Their former master was called to give generously, sending them off with livestock, grain, and wine, matching whatever abundance God had provided to the household.
