What does Daniel 8:26 mean?

Gabriel is telling Daniel that the strange vision he just witnessed, full of bizarre animals and confusing timelines, is genuinely accurate and will come to pass, but Daniel needs to keep it private for now. The angel is essentially saying this prophecy describes events so far in the future that it would only confuse people in Daniel's own time, so it should be sealed away until those days actually arrive. It's a reminder that some truths are real even when we don't fully understand them yet, and sometimes what we're shown needs to wait for the right moment to be revealed.
