What does Daniel 4:11 mean?

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, is describing a dream he had, and in it a magnificent tree grew so tall and so strong that it dominated the entire landscape. The tree's branches provided shelter and food for all the creatures of the earth, and it seemed invincible, reaching toward heaven itself. This dream is about power and pride, showing how Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom had become so vast and influential that it seemed to have no limits or equals. What makes this significant is that the dream doesn't end here, the tree is eventually cut down, reminding us that even the mightiest earthly power is temporary and subject to God's greater authority.
