What does Daniel 3:25 mean?
King Nebuchadnezzar threw three young Jewish men into a blazing furnace for refusing to bow to his statue, expecting them to burn alive. Instead, when he peered into the fire, he saw something impossible: not three men but four, walking around freely in the flames without any sign of harm. The fourth figure's appearance struck him as more than human, something divine. This moment captures what faith looks like when everything visible says you should be destroyed. The three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, had chosen their conscience over their survival, and God met them in that furnace. Whether the fourth figure was an angel or a divine presence, the point is the same: when we're faithfully walking through our hardest moments, we're never truly alone in them. God shows up in ways we don't expect and can't fully explain.
