What does Daniel 2:20 mean?

Daniel speaks these words after God reveals King Nebuchadnezzar's forgotten dream to him, saving his life and the lives of his fellow wise men. In that moment of deliverance, Daniel's first response isn't relief or self-congratulation, but genuine praise for God's character. What Daniel recognizes is that God possesses both wisdom (understanding what is hidden and true) and might (the power to act on that wisdom). These aren't abstract qualities to him, they're real and personal because God just demonstrated both. When life feels overwhelming or uncertain, this verse reminds us that the God we trust actually has what it takes. He sees what we cannot see, and he has the strength to help us through it.
