What does Daniel 12:9 mean?
When Daniel asks for clarity about the mysterious visions he's been shown, the angel tells him that the full meaning of these prophecies won't be understood until they actually begin to unfold in the future. It's a reminder that some knowledge isn't meant for us to have right now, even when we desperately want answers. This can speak to our own seasons of confusion and waiting. Sometimes we ask God hard questions about what's coming, what He's doing, or why things are unfolding as they are, and the honest answer is that we're not ready to know yet, or it's simply not the right time. The instruction to "go your way" suggests we're invited to keep living faithfully even without complete understanding, trusting that clarity will come when it matters most.
