What does Acts 7:36 mean?

Stephen is reminding his listeners about Moses, who performed miracles throughout Israel's entire journey from slavery to the edge of the promised land. Those forty years in the wilderness weren't punishment alone, but a sustained period when God demonstrated His faithfulness through daily provision, protection, and guidance. When we're in our own long seasons of waiting or struggle, this verse reminds us that God's care and power don't end after one dramatic moment, but can sustain us through years of uncertainty. The "wonders and signs" aren't just past history, but evidence that God stays present even when the journey takes far longer than we'd hoped.
