Acts 3:10

They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

What does Acts 3:10 mean?

A man who had spent years sitting helpless at the temple gate, asking for spare change, suddenly stands up and walks. The people who knew him from his daily begging spot immediately recognize something impossible has just occurred. Their shock and amazement weren't just about seeing someone healed, but about witnessing the reversal of what seemed like a permanent, unchangeable condition. Sometimes the most powerful moments of faith happen when we see God act on behalf of someone we thought would never change.
