What does Acts 2:34 mean?
Peter is quoting Psalm 110 to make a striking point: King David, Israel's greatest hero, never went to heaven himself. But David wrote words that point beyond his own experience, speaking about someone who would sit at God's right hand in power and honor. Peter is saying that David was actually describing the Messiah (Jesus), not himself.
