What does Acts 18:4 mean?
Paul had settled in Corinth and made it his habit to show up at the Jewish synagogue each week to engage in discussion. He wasn't forcing his beliefs on anyone or avoiding conversation, but rather reasoning through Scripture with whoever would listen, whether they were Jewish or Greek (non-Jewish). This tells us something important about how Paul approached his faith: he trusted that thoughtful conversation and honest wrestling with questions could open people's hearts. It also shows he went where people already gathered, meeting them in familiar spaces rather than demanding they come to him.
