What does Acts 18:1 mean?
Paul left Athens and traveled to Corinth, a major port city in Greece. This simple sentence marks a turning point in Paul's missionary journey, as he moved from a city of philosophers and idols to a thriving commercial hub filled with all kinds of people, including both Jews and non-believers. Corinth would become one of the most important churches Paul established, and he'd spend considerable time there building relationships and teaching. Sometimes our greatest work happens not in the most prestigious places, but in the cities and communities where we're actually called to be.
