What does Acts 17:33 mean?

After Paul's speech to the Athenian philosophers at the Areopagus, some mocked him, some wanted to hear more later, and a few believed. Rather than push harder or defend himself against skeptics, Paul simply left. Sometimes the wisest thing we can do is step back, knowing that God's word has been shared and the response is ultimately not our responsibility. This moment reminds us that faithfulness doesn't always mean winning an argument or converting everyone in the room, just speaking truth and trusting what happens next.
