What does Acts 16:8 mean?
Paul and his missionary team were traveling through what's now Turkey, moving westward toward the coast. Mysia was a region they passed through relatively quickly, but Troas was their destination, a port city where they could either sail onward or wait for God's direction. In the very next verses, Paul receives his famous vision of a man from Macedonia calling him across the sea to Europe, which fundamentally changed the spread of Christianity. This brief mention of travel matters because it shows real people in real places following God's leading step by step, sometimes not knowing exactly where they're headed but faithful to move forward anyway.
