What does Acts 16:32 mean?

Paul and Silas had just been arrested and thrown into a Philippian jail around midnight. When an earthquake shook the prison foundations and the doors flew open, the jailer thought his prisoners had escaped and was about to kill himself, but Paul stopped him. In that desperate moment, the jailer asked what he needed to do to be saved, and Paul responded by sharing the gospel with him and his entire household. This verse captures that powerful scene: even in the chaos of a jail cell, with everything turned upside down, Paul didn't hesitate to tell this man and everyone under his roof about Jesus. It reminds us that God's word is meant to be shared freely and urgently, especially with those who are searching or struggling.
