Acts 13:13

What does Acts 13:13 mean?
Paul and his traveling companions are on a missionary journey, moving from one place to another by sea. At Perga, something shifts: John (also known as Mark) suddenly leaves the group and heads back home to Jerusalem. We don't get the reason here, though it hints at real struggle, since this departure later causes tension between Paul and Barnabas. What matters for us is that this small moment shows how following God's call isn't always smooth or predictable, even for the early church. People sometimes turn back, and that's part of the messy, human reality of faith.
