What does 2 Thessalonians 1:10 mean?
Paul is describing the moment when Jesus returns and his followers finally see him as he truly is. At that moment, Christ's glory will be visible through the transformed lives of those who trusted him, and everyone who believed will understand that their faith was worth it. There's something deeply comforting here: your belief matters, your life matters, and one day the reality of following Jesus will be unmistakable and vindicated. Paul is essentially telling the Thessalonians (and us) that the hard work of faith now, the witnesses we live out each day, will eventually make perfect sense when we see Jesus face to face.
