What does 2 Peter 3:1 mean?
Peter is writing to people he cares about, letting them know this is his second message to them. His goal in both letters is the same: to wake up their thinking and help them remember what really matters, the true faith they already know. There's something tender in how he does this—not by attacking them or introducing wild new ideas, but by gently reminding them of what they've already learned and believe. When we're discouraged or confused, sometimes we need someone we trust to help us remember what we knew was true all along.
