What does 2 Peter 2:15 mean?
Peter is warning his readers about false teachers who have abandoned what's right and instead chase money and influence, just like Balaam did in the Old Testament. Balaam was a prophet who got paid to curse God's people, letting greed override his better judgment. Peter uses this ancient example to show that when we prioritize wealth or status over integrity, we're walking a path that leads us away from God and toward harm.
