What does 2 Peter 1:16 mean?
Peter is reassuring early Christians that what he and the other apostles taught about Jesus wasn't based on made-up stories or clever human invention, but on things they actually saw with their own eyes. He's addressing a real concern people had then (and still have): how do we know this is true and not just mythology?
