“Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, neither is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” He led them to Samaria.”
What does 2 Kings 6:19 mean?
Elisha has just prayed that God would blind a Syrian army sent to capture him, and now he's leading these blinded soldiers somewhere they don't expect to go. His words are gentle and almost matter-of-fact, as if he's simply giving them directions. The "man you seek" is him, though they don't know it yet.
