What does 2 Kings 5:5 mean?
The king of Syria is sending his most important military commander, Naaman, to the king of Israel to be healed of leprosy. He's doing this with formal dignity, providing a royal letter and generous gifts of silver, gold, and fine clothes, treating this as a serious diplomatic matter between two kingdoms.
