2 Corinthians 5:18
“But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;”
What does 2 Corinthians 5:18 mean?
God is the one who fixed what was broken between us and him, and he did that through Jesus. Now he's giving us the job of helping others experience that same healing and restoration in their own lives. It's not that we earn our way back to God—he initiates the whole thing. But once we've felt that reconciliation ourselves, we get to participate in bringing it to others, whether that's through our words, our presence, or simply how we treat people.
