2 Corinthians 4:6

What does 2 Corinthians 4:6 mean?
Paul is connecting the creation story, where God brought light out of nothing, to what happens when we encounter Jesus. Just as God spoke light into existence at the very beginning, he does something similarly powerful inside us when we come to know Christ, illuminating our minds and hearts with understanding we couldn't have reached on our own. The "light of the knowledge" here isn't just intellectual information, but a transformation that happens when we truly see who Jesus is and what he represents of God's character. Paul is telling the Corinthians (and us) that recognizing Jesus as God's glory isn't something we figure out through our own effort, but something God graciously reveals to us from the inside out, the same way he once commanded darkness to become light.
