What does 2 Corinthians 10:17 mean?

Paul is reminding us where genuine pride should land. Rather than boasting about our own accomplishments, intelligence, or status, we're invited to direct our confidence and celebration toward God's goodness and faithfulness. It's a reorientation of the heart: instead of seeking validation through what we've achieved or accumulated, we find our deepest satisfaction in what God has done and who God is. This doesn't mean being ashamed of honest work or growth, but rather recognizing that anything worthwhile in us ultimately comes from God's grace, and that's what deserves our wonder and gratitude.
