What does 2 Chronicles 6:24 mean?

When Israel faces defeat in battle because of their own wrongdoing, there's a path back: turning around, admitting what they did wrong, and coming before God with genuine prayer in the temple. King Solomon is describing what repentance looks like, and it matters that he names each step. It's not enough to feel bad or to whisper a private apology, but to openly acknowledge sin and seek God's face with real intention. The point isn't that confession earns automatic victory, but that returning to God with honesty opens the door to restoration, even after failure and loss.
