“Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David. All Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem honored him at his death. Manasseh his son reigned in his place.”
What does 2 Chronicles 32:33 mean?
When King Hezekiah died, his people gave him a burial place of honor among Judah's greatest leaders, showing how much they respected him and what he meant to their nation. Even though his reign had challenges, the whole community came together to recognize his faithfulness, particularly his trust in God during the Assyrian siege.
