What does 2 Chronicles 18:28 mean?
Two kings are about to march into battle together, though neither fully understands what they're walking toward. Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, has allied himself with Ahab, king of Israel, based partly on a group of prophets who promised victory. But just before this verse, a faithful prophet named Micaiah warned them that they would fail and Ahab would die. Ahab disregarded the warning, and now both kings are heading toward Ramoth Gilead anyway, determined to reclaim that city from enemy control.
