What does 2 Chronicles 1:11 mean?
God is delighted with Solomon because he asked for something that reveals his character and priorities. Instead of requesting wealth, power, revenge against enemies, or even a long life for himself, Solomon asked for wisdom to lead God's people well, and God honors that choice completely.
