1 Timothy 5:25

In the same way also there are good works that are obvious, and those that are otherwise can’t be hidden.

What does 1 Timothy 5:25 mean?

Paul is reminding Timothy that whether our good deeds are visible or done quietly, they eventually come to light. Some kindness gets noticed right away, but the faithful service we do in private, without seeking recognition, also has a way of becoming known over time. The point isn't to obsess over whether people see what we do, but to trust that integrity and genuine goodness don't stay hidden forever. In a community of faith, our true character tends to reveal itself whether we're looking for credit or not.
