What does 1 Timothy 2:4 mean?
God wants every single person to experience salvation and to truly understand who he is and what's real about the world. This verse reminds us that God's heart is expansive, not limited to a chosen few, and that knowing him deeply matters just as much as being rescued by his grace. When Paul wrote this to Timothy, he was pushing back against the idea that some people were beyond God's care or that salvation was only for the elite or the "good enough."
