What does 1 Samuel 24:10 mean?
David is standing over his enemy King Saul in a dark cave, and he's reminding Saul of a choice he just made: he could have killed him, and his own men were pushing him to do it, but he refused. Even though Saul had been hunting David to destroy him, David chose to honor the fact that Saul was God's chosen king, not because Saul deserved it, but because of what God had made him.
