What does 1 Samuel 21:15 mean?

King Achish of Gath is speaking here, frustrated and suspicious after David pretended to be insane to escape danger. David had come to Achish seeking refuge but, realizing he might be recognized and killed, began acting deranged, drooling and scratching at the walls. Achish's question basically means: "Why would I need another crazy person around? I have enough trouble without this unstable man in my house." It shows how David's act worked perfectly, though in a somewhat humiliating way. Sometimes when we're desperate to survive a difficult situation, we have to swallow our pride and do uncomfortable things just to get through.
