What does 1 Kings 19:8 mean?
After Elijah ate the bread and water that an angel had miraculously provided, he was physically strengthened enough to walk for forty days and nights to Mount Horeb. This wasn't just ordinary food giving him energy, it was a meal given by God's messenger, preparing him for an important journey to encounter the Lord.
