What does 1 Kings 17:5 mean?

Elijah had just delivered a hard message to King Ahab, and now he's following God's instruction to hide away by a remote stream. The prophet obeys without hesitation or negotiation, even though leaving everything behind to camp by a brook probably seemed strange and isolating. Sometimes faith means trusting God's direction when we don't fully understand why, and when the path he's calling us to looks nothing like what we'd choose for ourselves. This verse captures that moment when someone says yes to God's leading, even into uncertainty.
