What does 1 Corinthians 6:14 mean?

Paul is reminding the Corinthians of something bedrock: Jesus' resurrection wasn't a one-time miracle that ended with him, but a preview and promise of what God will do for all who belong to him. The same divine power that brought Jesus back from death has already been set in motion for us, making our physical bodies and our futures matter deeply, not something to be discarded or abused. He's anchoring their hope in the most concrete way possible—if God did it for Christ, God will do it for us too. This grounds Paul's earlier warnings about how they treat their bodies: because resurrection is real and coming, what we do with ourselves right now actually counts.
