What does 1 Corinthians 4:12 mean?
Paul is describing the grueling reality of his ministry: he's working physically hard to support himself while spreading the gospel, and he's facing real hostility. Rather than responding to curses with bitterness or insults, he chooses to offer blessings instead. When persecuted, he simply continues forward with patient endurance.
