What does 1 Corinthians 16:5 mean?
Paul is letting the church at Corinth know his travel plans so they won't worry or wonder where he is. He's currently moving through the region of Macedonia (in northern Greece) and will visit them afterward once that leg of his journey is complete. This kind of straightforward communication mattered deeply in a time when travel was slow and uncertain, and people couldn't just pick up a phone to check in. He's essentially saying, "I'm on my way, but I need to finish what I'm doing first, then I'll see you." It's a simple promise from someone his readers loved and were eager to see again.
