What does 1 Corinthians 15:44 mean?
Paul is describing what happens when we die and are resurrected. Our current bodies are physical, bound by the limits of time, space, and decay, but when God raises us up, we'll have transformed spiritual bodies that aren't subject to those same limitations. He's not saying our new bodies will be ghostly or immaterial, but rather that they'll operate according to different rules, fully alive in God's presence without weakness or death. This offers real comfort: what we are matters, and what we experience now isn't the end of the story. Our physical existence has value, even as we trust God for something far better to come.
