What does 1 Corinthians 15:22 mean?
Paul is drawing a parallel between two pivotal figures in human history: Adam, through whom sin and death entered the world, and Christ, through whom restoration and life come. Just as Adam's sin created a chain reaction affecting all humanity, Christ's resurrection breaks that chain by offering new life to everyone who belongs to him. This isn't saying everyone will be saved in the same way, but rather that Christ has fundamentally reversed what was lost, making resurrection available to those who trust in him.
