What does 1 Corinthians 14:26 mean?
Paul is describing what happens when the church gathers: people bring different gifts and contributions, from songs of praise to teaching to speaking in languages the Spirit enables. Rather than letting this become chaotic or competitive, he's calling everyone toward a single shared purpose: using whatever you have to strengthen others in the community.
