What does 1 Corinthians 13:6 mean?
Love doesn't take pleasure in wrongdoing, whether it's our own mistakes or someone else's failures. Instead, it finds joy in what is true and good, in seeing people and situations move toward integrity and wholeness. This is a gentle correction to how we sometimes secretly enjoy gossip, schadenfreude, or being right at someone else's expense. Paul is saying that genuine love actively celebrates when truth wins out, because truth is what actually heals and restores us.
