What does 1 Corinthians 12:23 mean?
Paul is describing how we naturally protect and care for the parts of our bodies we consider less dignified or that we keep hidden. We wrap them up, cover them carefully, and treat them with genuine respect because they're vulnerable and important, even though we don't display them publicly. He's using this physical reality as a picture of how Christian communities should work: the people who seem less prominent, less impressive, or who struggle quietly deserve extra attention, protection, and honor from the rest of us.
