What does 1 Chronicles 22:16 mean?
David is speaking to his son Solomon just before handing off the enormous task of building the Temple. He's reminding Solomon that the materials are already there in abundance—no shortage, no excuse to delay. The real point isn't the inventory of gold and silver, but the encouragement underneath: you have what you need, so get started, and trust that God will be with you through the work.
