What does 1 Chronicles 17:15 mean?
Nathan the prophet came to King David with an extraordinary message from God: that David's line would be established forever, that his descendants would build God's house, and that God would be a father to them. This verse simply notes that Nathan delivered the complete vision exactly as he had received it, without adding his own commentary or softening the message.
