What does 1 Chronicles 13:7 mean?

Moving the ark of God was meant to be a sacred act, so David's team prepared carefully with a brand new cart, the finest they could offer. However, this detail matters more than it seems: God had actually given specific instructions that the ark should be carried on the shoulders of Levites using poles, not transported on a cart. Uzza and Ahio were the ones managing the journey, but what looks like reverence and care—using a new cart, treating it with honor—was actually moving in the wrong direction. Sometimes our good intentions and our best efforts can still miss what God is actually asking for, and that's a gentle reminder to check not just our heart, but also whether we're following what we've been shown to do.
