What does 1 Chronicles 11:5 mean?

When David wanted to make Jerusalem his capital, the people living there (called Jebusites) mocked him, insisting their city was unconquerable. But David's determination and strategic thinking proved them wrong, and he captured the fortress. What makes this moment significant is that Jerusalem, once belonging to someone else entirely, became the center of David's kingdom and eventually the spiritual heart of Israel's faith. The passage captures that turning point where an outsider's vision and courage transformed a city's destiny.
